The article provides a Business-Oriented Model of Factors that affect adoption of wireless High Speed Data Services. In this article, we (1) review business Information Technology acceptance literature, (2) develop a pilot study on a sample of twelve companies in Europe and USA, (3) formulate a research model, (4) empirically test the proposed model on a sample of 1.545 companies across the USA and Europe and present the results of our study. The study finds strong support for the use of a combined Task Technology Fit Model and Technology Adoption Model to predict wireless high-speed data service adoption.

Abstract

The article provides a Business-Oriented Model of Factors that affect adoption of wireless High Speed Data Services. In this article, we (1) review business Information Technology acceptance literature, (2) develop a pilot study on a sample of twelve companies in Europe and USA, (3) formulate a research model, (4) empirically test the proposed model on a sample of 1.545 companies across the USA and Europe and present the results of our study. The study finds strong support for the use of a combined Task Technology Fit Model and Technology Adoption Model to predict wireless high-speed data service adoption.
