The project is coordinated by Modena and Terre Estensi Volunteering Service Centre (Centro Servizi per il Volontariato Modena e Terre Estensi), University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Marco Biagi Foundation, Modena Women's Documentation Centre (Centro Documentazione Donna), Modena Child and Maternal Health Association (Associazione Buona Nascita), with the patronage of the Municipality of Modena and the Province of Modena. The project is funded by Modena Charitable Savings Bank Foundation (Fondazione Modena). The Gender Equality, Fertility, Maternal Health, Family and Parenting Support Project aims at combining research and experimental actions to promote policies in favor of fertility and childbearing decisions, family and parent support, with particular attention to gender dynamics. The project touches on a wide range of issues that can affect the fertility decisions of individuals, collecting evidence on work-life balance, gender inequalities, access to and use of childcare services as well as other welfare services at a regional and national level.
