The chapter aims at providing an overview of the legal status of autonomous workers in the Italian legal system, with specific reference to their collective rights (i.e., the right to bargain the working conditions collectively, the right to sign a collective bargaining agreement, the right to strike, the right to react by means of the law to unlawful behaviour of the employer/principal who limits the exercise of collective rights, etc.).
