Introduction to Part III. Separation of powers in times of crisis

This work addresses the separation of powers in times of “crisis”. The analysis examines how the separation of powers works in practice in a world dealing with several emergencies, or, at least, “situations of stress”. Political and economic instability, authoritarian drifts, threats to security are just some examples of the latest developments of the political scenario that may challenge traditional theories on the separation of powers.
