The paper focuses on GHG emissions of European cities from transportation. The purpose of the analysis is to explore the determinants of GHG emissions from urban transport. We make use of available data at European level to evaluate through a linear regression a set of variables and to determine their relevance in influencing emissions. A sample of 29 to 33 European cities is considered.
