The chapter explores the role of trust in coopetitive inter-organiztional relationships. The first part of the paper analyses the key elements of the trust concept; in the second part the authors propose a model aimed to fully understand the main dimensions of the multplexity in the coopetitive relationships. From this model is possible to derive some main typologies of coopetition and the different role played by the trust concpet in each category. A dynamic perspective of the coopetitive relationship and the trust evolution closes the chapter.
