The chapter explains that current antitrust legal standards for appreciating the competitive impact of monopolists' innovations may disregard the "social justice perspective". In order to allow both monopolists' rivals to keep on innovating, and the industry's innovative path not to be monopolized, it is enough to give consideration to the impact that monopolists' innovations produce on dynamic efficiency.
