The books illustrates the situation of the electricity industry in the EU member states providing basic data. Twelve EU Countries are deeply investigated. For each of them, the mechanisms behing the complex interplay between the electricity industry and political power are illustrated. The goal of the comparative analysis is to highlight the relashionship between regulation, structure and ownership of the electricity supply industry and performances.
