The article presents some reflections on the most important trends of contemporary constitutionalism and administrative law. The developments of the legal reflection are examined from the point of view of their relevance for the future of the various constitutional systems considered. Specific attention is paid to examining the response of states to the emergency caused by the pandemic of 2020.
