Textbook of Public Law

This textbook has three specific characteristics, related to the subject it deals with, the authors who wrote it and the perspective that animates it. As regards the subject, it deals with Italian public law in its general profiles, with a clear focus on the aspects of administrative law that are becoming increasingly important in today’s society and in the ways in which the public authorities manifest themselves. The second characteristic lies in the fact that this textbook is the result of the efforts and the reflections of many authors (drawn together by friendship above all): a variety of voices and points of view, therefore, that, as happens in all works by more than one person, enriches it and, at the same time, makes its reading a livelier experience. Finally, it was also conceived with a view to being made available beyond the borders of Italy: and this explains the decision to deal with principles rather than details and the constant effort to explain and describe the general elements, but without abandoning either critical observations or more complex reflections.
