Our research addresses the safety culture issue as an essential characteristic of the organizational environment where safety solutions could effectively be adopted and embedded in the day to day activity. Sponsored by SDA Bocconi, the goal of this research was to test reliability and validity for Italian Health Care Organizations (HCOs)of a public-use safety culture survey funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) that hospitals could administer on their own to assess patient safety culture from the perspective of their employees and staff. After our field research we can confirm the suitability of the AHRQ Survey of Safety Culture for Italian HCOs. Possible limitations for the Italian Health Care System reside in the willingness of HCOs leaders to analyze themselves and take actions.

Abstract
Possible limitations for the Italian Health Care System reside in the willingness of HCOs leaders to analyze themselves and take actions.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
