The aim of the paper is to analyse all the different activities that deal with a Supplier Portal implementation, in order to point out the key factors that influence the success of the Supplier Portal project. Analysing seven Supplier Portal projects related to different industries, the study illustrates phases, decisions and elements of the project and their contribution to the achievement of the goal of the portal. The paper ends with some evidences on the conduction of the project
