Abstract
This paper points to the high patenting activity of users in innovation in high technologies. The case of semiconductors indicates that users, characterized by application knowledge and by an understanding of the solutions that components need to provide for systems or final products, have been able to develop innovations in semiconductor devices and have protected their innovations through patenting. In quantitative terms, user innovativeness in semiconductors was significant.File in questo prodotto:
