Most Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS) were initially developed to help professional records managers with the management of paper-based records. EDRMS are now also used by knowledge professionals throughout organisations to locate records and information needed for their work. Abstract
Most Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS) were initially developed to help professional records managers with the management of paper-based records. EDRMS are now also used by knowledge professionals throughout organisations to locate records and information needed for their work. In this paper, we draw on our findings of a field study on the information seeking behaviour of 40 EDRMS users in 4 organisations that used 4 different EDRMS, to provide Records Managers (RMs) with the managerial challenges they need to consider to better serve their EDRMS users.File in questo prodotto:
