Le droit à un environnement salubre: quels nouveaux enjeux nord-nord et nord-sud?

The article shows how the issue of the environmental protection is perceived differently in the countries of the Nord and of the South of the world. While in the industrialized countries the protection of the environment is becoming an instrument for the development and for the economic recovery after the 2008 world crisis, in the Southern and in the developed countries the needs of the environmental protection are still clashing with those of the economic growth. Nevertheless, in both Northern and Southern countries the environment is only the tip of the iceberg of different economic, social and cultural instances. In this framework, the principles of the environmental law can be used as a paradigm to solve many different problems, including that of the relationship between North-South of the world.
