While many look upon the Bologna Process and the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) with great scepticism, the author of this paper illustrates two personal academic experiences that demonstrate that the process of internationalisation of higher education is undoubtedly the path to be followed. The author endeavours to show how the Bachelor Program in International Economics, Management and Finance (BIEMF) at the Bocconi in Milan – Italy’s top business school – and the European Union and Legal Reform Summer School organised every year in Montenegro by the Center for Constitutional Studies and Democratic Development (CCSDD) and the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Law represent two excellent ways of creating a European Higher Education Area.
