A test of DeLone and McLean's model of information systems success in the user developer environment. User-developers built spreadsheets designed to support solving of problems associated with a selection decision. They then used the spreadsheets built by other user-developers to solve a set of problems. Both end-user decision makers and experts evaluated the quality of the spreadsheets. The results provide partial support for the DeLone and McLean model in the end-user domain and demonstrate that there is a difference between the path to performance from actual quality as evaluated by experts and perceived quality as evaluated by end users.

Abstract
A test of DeLone and McLean's model of information systems success in the user developer environment. User-developers built spreadsheets designed to support solving of problems associated with a selection decision. They then used the spreadsheets built by other user-developers to solve a set of problems. Both end-user decision makers and experts evaluated the quality of the spreadsheets. The results provide partial support for the DeLone and McLean model in the end-user domain and demonstrate that there is a difference between the path to performance from actual quality as evaluated by experts and perceived quality as evaluated by end users.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
